Six in ten disagree with PM’s January timeline: The Headlines – Malta Today

Malta Today publishes survey results showing that most people believe Joseph Muscat should resign. Two-fifths agree with his decision to step down in January; of those who disagree, a quarter want him to go immediately and another quarter don’t want him to resign.

The paper also reports that Keith Schembri has been questioned by the police after suspected middleman Melvin Theuma testified in court that he was given a phantom job in the civil service on instructions of the former Chief of Staff.

Another story says that PN MPs voiced their concerns about the party’s absence in protests organised by civil society. The paper says Claudio Grech, Beppe Fenech Adami and Mario de Marco spoke up during a parliamentary group meeting on Saturday.
