Strong lead by Abela at halfway mark: The Headlines – The Times

The Sunday Times says that by halfway mark of counting, Robert Abela was well ahead of Chris Fearne with 58 percent of the vote. The Labour Party said that around 93 percent of its 17,000 eligible voters took part.

Another story claims that Joseph Muscat intends to start a national debate on the possible introduction of abortion after he formally steps down. In his last speech to party supporters he said he want to focus on rights.
