Up to 20,000 potential voters in PL Leader elections: The Headlines – Kulħadd

Kulħadd announces that there are 10,000 Labour Party paid-up members who are eligible to vote in the leadership election. Another 10,000 can participate if they regularise their payments covering the past five years.

Another story covers the Prime Minister’s private audience with Pope Francis at the Vatican on Saturday, before Pope received all the Muscat family. Joseph Muscat later met Italian counterpart Giuseppe Conte in Rome.

The paper also quotes published figures showing that emissions in Malta decreased by a third between 2018 and 2019 while the economy continued to grow. The paper says this is the result of investments in clean energy systems.
