BENGALURU, Oct 25 (Reuters) – Popular messaging app WhatsApp was slowly coming back online by 0900 GMT on Tuesday, with some users inn a number of countries, including Malta were saying they were able to send and receive some messages and videos.
Users across the world had reported issues with the platform earlier on Tuesday.
META’s WhatsApp’s number of users are reporting issues. According to Downdetector , there was a sharp spike in the number of users reporting WhatsApp’s outage.
There was no official response or acknowledgement from WhatsApp or META.
Users are complaining that their messages are not getting delivered. Even when the messages are delivered, the app fails to highlight the delivery status.
