World Bank boss Kristalina Georgieva is the sole candidate to become the International Monetary Fund’s managing director this fall.
The IMF confirmed the Bulgarian is the only nominee to replace the outgoing incumbent Christine Lagarde, who’s set to become European Central Bank president on November 1.
