Despite the ‘hospitality’ brand, Malta was never comfortable with integration of foreigners – It-Torċa

It-Torċa speaks to Professor Carm Borg about the revolt in Ħal Far on Sunday. The academic said that, although Malta grew a reputation for hospitality and help to others, the nation has never been comfortable with integration of foreigners.

It-Torċa also quotes a statement by the General Workers Unions condemning comments that incite racial hate. The union appealed to everyone, including politicians, to consider the consequences of their words.
