New body to regulate bouncers to be set up: The Headlines – The Malta Independent

The Independent on Sunday speaks to the Home Affairs Ministry about the setting up of a body to regulate club bouncers announced in 2017. The Ministry said that the drafting of the law is at an advanced stage and is expected early next year.

Another article carries an interview with Bank Employees’ Union president William Portelli who said that HSBC has never given any indication that it intends to leave Malta. Speculation grew after the bank announced it would close down eight branches.
