The visit will probably happen before summer and the Pope’s itinerary is likely to include stops in both Malta and Gozo. Contacted for a comment, the spokesperson for the Archbishop’s Curia said that the Maltese Bishops, moved by the warm words towards the people of MAltawhich Pope Francis has recently uttered in various occasions of late, had renewed their invitation to His Holiness to visit the Maltese Islands.
