Planning has started on a project to build 550 residence units for social accommodation, funded by the IIP. A police officer was left with a broken finger after a French student was trying to avoid arrest. LovinMalta said the 22-year-old fled when he was spotted defecating in public by officers on the beat. The police gave him chase and, when caught, reacted violently and broke the officer’s finger.
