The Times leads with a Court decree by Mr Justice Mark Chetcuti who referred a case against the method of selection of the judiciary in Malta to the European Court of Justice. The paper says the decision could lead to the revocation of six appointments made in April.
Another story reveals that a panel reviewing a planning policy allowing ‘backdoor’ developments in Outside Development Zones, has rarely met since it was set up a year ago. One member said that there has been little progress with the review process.
