The Times quotes a Eurobarometer survey conducted over the last two weeks of November showing that 46 percent of people in Malta were dissatisfied with the state of democracy, a sharp rise from 24 percent the year before.
Another story says that Maltese students obtained disappointing scores in the Programme for International Student Assessment carried out in around 80 countries. Some 3,300 15-year=old students in Malta were interviewed for proficiency in reading, science and maths.
