Malta: Customs intercepts 23 containers carrying boats on their way to Libya

In recent months, the Customs Department seized no less than 23 containers at the Free Port, which it said were each carrying a ‘power boat’.

The Malta Customs said in a statement that the containers, which were on their way to Libya, were intercepted because it was believed that they were intended for illegal immigration use.
