A man who was sentenced to 18 years in prison after strangling a girl while committing robbery on her and her friend, had his sentence confirmed after three judges dismissed his appeal after taking into consideration that the victim had spent some time in danger of death and had also found it difficult to work as an interpreter for a number of months due to the injuries suffered.
