Malta Today reports that Malta has cut off all travel connections by sea and air with Italy to step up efforts against the spread of the virus. The Prime Minister, meanwhile, said that cargo shipments will be allowed in as normal.
A second report says that the 16-year-old who tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday has not attended school since her return from Italy towards the end of February. She was holidaying in the northern region of Alto Adige with her family.
