No damage reported after 3.1 strong earthquake was recorded in Umbria

An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 was recorded at 5:10 am in Umbria, in the southeast of the province of Perugia. 

According to the surveys of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (Ingv), the earthquake had  an 8 km depth and epicenter 3 km west of Trevi and 9 south of Foligno. 

No damage to persons or property is reported.
