No state compensation for wrongly jailed man: The Headlines – The Times

The Times reports that the courts have turned down a request for state compensation by a man who was wrongly charged and imprisoned for sexually abusing his daughter. Mr Justice Mark Chetcuti said that the false accusations came from a private citizen, not the state.

In another story, the paper picks up footage of a truckload of white goods being dumped at an illegal facility that is temporarily being run by Wastserv. The video was first posted on social media by Opposition spokesperson for the Environment Jason Azzopardi.
