PN supporters call out absent Opposition MPs: The Headlines – L-Orizzont

L-Orizzont says that only a third of opposition representatives were present in parliament for a speech by MP Simon Busuttil this week. The paper picks up social media posts by PN supporters who expressed disappointment at the absence of party leadership.

A second story says that activists have not yet seen the new EU border law that intends to set up a body 10,000 of border guards by 2027. The paper says that the law was originally proposed by EU Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker.

The paper also reports that more than 60 people received acute care against their will in 2018, many of whom had had a history of suicidal attempts. Two in five of patients were within the 30-44 age bracket.
