Opponents of president of Bolivia Evo Morales hold a vigil at an exit of the El Alto International Airport, in El Alto, Bolivia.

The Bolivian protest leader Luis Fernando Camacho managed to arrive in La Paz on 06 November, after supporters of President Evo Morales prevented him from leaving El Alto Airport the day before.

The airport is located 13 km west of La Paz. According to media reports, Camacho plans to lead a rally to the presidential palace and demand that President Morales sign a pre-written resignation letter. President Morales won a fourth term in office during the 20 October general elections.

In the meantime, a student was killed as civil unrest continued on the streets of Bolivia on Wednesday.

The 20 year-old student died following violent clashes between pro- and anti-government protesters in the city of Cochabamba, a doctor at the local hospital told news agency AFP. Roughly 20 more people were injured in the clashes, according to Ombudsman Nadia Cruz.
