FT: Low cost airline Ryanair has cut its hand luggage policy for the second time in a year, restricting customers to a single small bag unless they pay €6 for priority boarding in a move it said would cut delays.
From November, non-priority customers will be permitted to bring only “one free (small) carry-on bag”, as opposed to the small bag and additional bigger bag of up to 10kg currently permitted for free, the airline said.
The policy will apply to all bookings made from September 1.
