Jupiter, as seen from Malta

Looking at the sky is a fascinating experience.

For Michael Galea, this fascination has a particular perspective, which he’s sharing with our readers.

This is planet Jupiter, as seen from Malta on June 15th. Next to the planet, one can also observe Jupiter’s three moons.

Jupiter from Malta

Michael Galea was introduced to photography at a young age when his father gave him a Konica C35 SLR to capture images of his native village, Zejtun, Malta for a school project. His father’s guidance and influence provided a foundation for Michael from which to build upon. Since then, photography has helped him see the world differently. His dream is to travel the world capturing the beauty of its places and people, one click at a time.
Nowadays, Michael shoots with a Nikon D810 and D7000. He currently resides in Malta with his wife and the best dog in the world, Mimi. He is also an amateur astronomer with a passion for astrophotography.
