Engineers raise concerns about change to professional Act – The Headlines – The Independent

The Independent quotes a statement by the Chamber of Engineers which warns that changes in the Engineering Profession Act will lower standards and might have ‘serious implications’ on general health and safety.

The paper also follows the development in the Caruana Galizia investigation and says that the suspected middleman was interrogated by the police in relation to a string of money laundering activities, but requested a ‘blanket pardon’ for all crimes he has been involved in.
