The Malta Business Weekly leads with the launch of a funding round for start-ups by the European Innovation Council, blending grant and direct equity investment. Two Maltese companies applied for the funding, but they did not make it to the final selection.
A second story reports that Michelin will add Maltese restaurants to its guides as from next year. Malta will become the 33rd destination to be covered by the French restaurant guide.
In another report, the paper announces that Jurassic Park 3 will be partially filmed in Malta. The paper says that the production will take advantage of a cash rebate that has increased to up to 40 percent.
