Monday February 17

Tuesday February 18

The European Parliament will vote on new guidelines for energy projects in the Energy Committee.

 

Wednesday February 19

 

On Wednesday morning, the Civil Liberties Committee will hold a hearing on the implementation of a law that determines which EU Member State is responsible for the examination of an application for asylum submitted by persons seeking international protection – the so-called ‘Dublin III Regulation.’ 

 

A debate on EU subsidies will be held at the European Parliament. The debate will discuss clear rules on EU subsidies to ensure that there are no conflicts of interests between getting subsidies and politicians.

Thursday February 20

 

An emergency EU summit to resolve the EU’s 2021-2027 Budget stalemate will be held on Thursday in Brussels.

 

Friday February 21

 

Education Commissioner Mariya Gabriel meets young ambassadors of the European Parliament at the Vocational High School for Electrical Engineering and Electronics.
