Former FIAU chief hints at government interference: The Headlines – The Independent

The Independent follows the testimony of former FIAU director Manfred Galdes before the Caruana Galizia public inquiry board. He said that there had been ‘indirect influence’ by the government in the months before his resignation.

Another story says that Clint Camilleri has been appointed Gozo Minister following Justyne Caruana’s resignation. Anton Refalo has been made Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights.
