Gender pension gap bigger than EU average: The Headlines – The Independent

The Independent reports on Eurostat figures which show that Malta had the second-highest gender pension gap among EU states in 2018. Women over 65 in Malta earned 42 percent less then men, a gap wider than the EU average of 30 percent.

Another story quotes Prime Minister Robert Abela who expressed concern with the conflict situation within the Nationalist Party. He said that the country needs the Opposition to serve the best interests of people.
