Malta: New relief initiatives for businesses to be launched

L-Orizzont reveals that new measures to support businesses and protect jobs will be announced by government following a Cabinet meeting on Monday night. The paper says the decisions came after the EU Commission relaxed the Stability Pact for members.

Another story covers the press briefing by Public Health Superintendent Charmaine Gauci who warned that the number of cases reported in Malta so far is too low to consider the peak of the spread to have been reached.

The paper carries an interview with a Maltese woman overseas who was infected with Covid-19 and described the symptoms. She said that she never thought the virus would attack her and appealed for people to stay indoors.
