Minister says tap water is completely safe to drink: The Headlines – The Independent

The Independent speaks to Energy and Water Minister Michael Farrugia who assured the public that tap water is perfectly safe for drinking. He said that the chemicals used in the water are “well within the limits” imposed by the EU.

Another story follows the testimony by the MFSA head of supervision in the Caruana Galizia public inquiry on Monday. Marianne Scicluna revealed that inspectors were not comfortable checking on Pilatus Bank and one of them resigned after refusing to do so.
