L-Orizzont quotes Prime Minister Robert Abela who said that a mechanism is needed to respond to cases of damage to third-party property during construction works. He said he wants to find a balance between developers and neighbours.

A second story says that Malta launched a contingency plan and monitoring system to track the development of the coronavirus. The virus has already spread to 10 countries, with cases reported in the UK, France and Italy.

The paper also announces that the General Workers Union has been recognised as the only union to represent employees at the Building and Construction Agency and negotiate collectively on their behalf.
