Police needs UAE collaboration on 17 Black: The Headlines – The Independent

The Independent follows the testimony of two Economic Crimes Unit veterans in the Caruana Galizia public inquiry who said that due to lack of cooperation by the UAE, the police cannot prosecute on the evidence it has in connection to 17 Black.

The paper also reports on Wednesday’s hearing in the Caruana Galizia case where in conversations recorded by Melvin Theuma, businessman Yorgen Fenech was heard telling the middleman that Keith Schembri “went cold” after the journalist’s murder.
