Prime Minister agrees with mandatory unionisation: The Headlines – L-Orizzont

L-Orizzont reports on a meeting between the Prime Minister and the General Workers Union, in which Robert Abela declared his support for the union’s proposal to introduce mandatory membership in trade unions.

The paper also asks the Prime Minister for his reactions to the brutal killing of Chantelle Chetcuti on Sunday. Abela said that the country has to grow a culture that rejects domestic violence and upholds human dignity.

Another story quotes middleman Melvin Theuma in his testimony on Wednesday where he recalled that businessman Yorgen Fenech had once told him he was ready to “push Daphne Caruana Galizia off” without any remorse.
