Studies confirm Paceville violence against LGBTIQ: The Headlines – L-Orizzont

Reading Time: < 1 minute

L-Orizzont says that studies by the Malta Gay Rights Movement and the Allied Rainbow Communities confirmed reports of violence against LGBTIQ in Paceville. The associations have put a series of recommendations to authorities.

The paper also speaks to Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri who said that the appointment of the new Police Commissioner is expected to be debated over the coming two weeks, with the call for applications for the role likely to be published within a month.

Another report follows proceedings in the libel case filed by now Parliamentary Secretary Rosianne Cutajar against civil society activists Rachel Williams and Godfrey Leone Ganado for calling her a prostitute in social media posts.
