Air Malta aircraft scheduled to operate Munich flight involved in a bird strike

An Air Malta aircraft scheduled to operate flight KM 306/7 Malta-Munich-Malta was involved in a bird strike. The aircraft is currently being inspected in Malta by the airline’s engineers with a view to return it to normal operations as soon as possible.

As a consequence of this incident the flight will be delayed and other Air Malta flights may be impacted today.

The airline is working hard to minimise delays to its schedule as much as possible.

Air Malta gives utmost importance to the safety and well-being of its customers and crew and apologises to its customers for this inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond its control.
