Leisure business expected to pick up for NYE: The Headlines – The Times

The Times says that the Chamber of SMEs and the Hotels and Restaurants Union are confident of a strong end to the year for the leisure industry, following a slow two months. Philip Fenech from the Chamber expects a positive ‘holistic’ turnover.

Another story reveals that another 19 children may be evicted from Malta because their non-EU parents do not earn the minimum stipulated by Identity Malta. The paper says the number of children facing eviction has now risen to 41.
