Over 200 migrants brought safely to port: The Headlines – L-Orizzont

L-Orizzont reports that the Armed Forces and NGOs saved six boats carrying migrants in the space of a few hours between Sunday afternoon and night. More than 200 people have been rescued including pregnant women and children.

The paper also speaks to former chairperson of the Malta Confederation of Organisations for Women Lorraine Spiteri who condemned ‘sexual attacks’ on women in politics. She said that calling women ‘prostitutes’ is an attempt at bullying them into submission.
